A little about The Encore
The Encore is a stylish bar, restaurant, and pub situated in the heart of the historic market town of Stratford upon Avon.
With its unique dining area and an extensive menu of seasonal delights, this premium establishment provides the perfect setting in which to relax, indulge, and socialise, whatever the occasion.
And, with a great outdoor seating area amongst the boutiques and attractions of this iconic town, The Encore is the best place to enjoy food and drinks while watching the world go by on a light summer’s evening or a sunny afternoon.
Our menu is full of tempting, seasonal dishes, which are freshly prepared by our highly skilled chefs. Our stunning array of menus encompass everything from light bites and starters, through to hand made burgers, pizzas, and classic dishes.
From roasted pork belly and seared scallops, portobello mushrooms, and battered halloumi, through to beer battered fish and chips, handmade British beef burgers, and our 7oz fillet steak, there really is something for everyone.

Perfect for any occasion
Located in the very heart of the historic town of Stratford upon Avon, The Encore is incredibly easy to access by road, public transport, and on foot.
Stratford upon Avon is a short drive from Junction 15 of the M40, providing good access to the M42, M5, M6, and M25.
The town has its own, well-served train station, which accommodates direct trains from Snow Hill and Moor Street stations. If you’re travelling by train from London, you can reach us from Marylebone station via Banbury, Leamington Spa, and Warwick. The last train back to London during the week is at 11.15pm.
Stratford also boasts a convenient Park and Ride service, which runs Monday – Saturday from 7.30am until approximately 7.05pm.

Keeping Busy in Stratford-Upon-Avon
Known across the globe as being the home of William Shakespeare, Stratford upon Avon is a beautiful market town boasting over 800 years of history. Located upon the banks of the River Avon in the stunning Warwickshire countryside, this quaint town is one of the most important tourist destinations in the UK, attracting visitors from across the globe.
And, whether you’re soaking up the history of Stratford upon Avon or you’re simply enjoying a well-earned lunch break from work, The Encore is the perfect destination.
With a host of attractions linked to Shakespeare, including the Royal Shakespeare Theatre, the Royal Shakespeare Company, and the five beautifully preserved Shakespeare houses, there’s plenty for literature fans to enjoy.
Other attractions in the area, include Blenheim Palace, Charlecote Park, Hall’s Croft, and The British Motor Museum. Or, if you’re feeling brave, why not visit the spooky Bombay Manor Museum, or even the Stratford Ripper Experience? You can always call into The Encore for a drink or meal afterwards to settle your nerves!
